Pathbar ends prematurely. There should be several more folders displayed. The arrow doesn't work.

When browsing a remote folder (sftp) the pathbar may become too long to fit in the window. Unfortunately, the pathbar shows the start of the path and not the end, making navigating to parent and sibling folders challenging as you may have to go several parents up. The arrow to move the pathbar along doesn't work either, it's lit up but clicking doesn't work.

The pathbar is working fine on local folders.

Expected behaviour is like browsing local folders. The pathbar shows the deepest folders and you can click the arrow to the left to go closer to root.

Actual behaviour is that the pathbar displays from the root as many folders as it can, but may miss off the deepest ones. Arrows don't work.

Thanks for reporting, and sorry for the very late replay!

I just tried to reproduce, however neither with thunar 1.6.14, nor with thunar 1.8.1 I can see the bug. Pathpath behaves same remote and local for me, no matter how deep my folder tree is. Arrows work fine.
Could you please take a try with a up-to-date version of thunar ?

The pathbar has been reworked with 1.8.0, hopefully this bug is not valid with newer versions.
If this is still the case, please reopen.
