From searching the web, this is a long standing problem with XFCE. The desktop icons rearrange every time I reboot. Please can you figure out the problem.

I am on Xubuntu 14.04 (XFCE 4.10) , I use an auto-hiding panel at the bottom of the screen and my icon size is 40. Some other settings are: Show icon tooltips size 50, show thumbnails, single click to activate icons. I also use a background image on the desktop.

The icons rearrange about every 1-2 reboots.
