Thanks for your report. This may be the same issue as https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11892 which should be fixed in git master (or once version 4.12.3 is released).
No activity for a long time and seems fixed in recent versions. Feel free to reopen if this bug occurs again.
