I've been trying to get XFCE working on a retina macbook. Adjusting the DPI to 180 has made the rest of the desktop correct scale, but whiskermenu doesn't seem to scale so the pop up menu is now too small (but contains large writing and icons).

Is this expected behaviour or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks for the fantastic plugin!

You can make Whisker Menu bigger by dragging the triangle in the corner of the menu, which should work no matter what the DPI of the display is. It remembers its size, so you should only need to resize it once.

I am going to have to add a more a rational default size on high DPI displays, so that this will not be a problem in the future, but for now resizing manually should be a workaround.

I have discovered porting to GTK+3 that the menu is properly sized with HiDPI and GTK+3, so I won't need to do anything to support it beyond finishing the port. I don't like the idea of adding a hack to make the menu bigger with GTK+2, especially as it would then interfere with GTK+3. As you can resize the menu, I think that is a good enough workaround for GTK+2.
