1. Go to properties
2. Leave one of "text to display" boxes empty (for example Memory Monitor's) 
(I liked the minimal space between columns, space was too much for me)
3. Restart panel

Default text for edited item (Memory Monitor) should be restored now.
I think that version is 1.0.0:
