When running mplayer or qemu with xfwm4 from svn, revision 17710, the window decorations are all black, but the right shape and size. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run mplayer or qemu Actual Results: The windows get black window decorations Expected Results: The window decorations should be rendered correctly.
Not seeing that here. What's your config, what color depth, do you run the compositor, etc. ?
In case, can you upgrade to the latest from SVN?
Well, the latest revision (17761) didn't contain any changes from revision 17710. This is my config, or at least, what is relevant: * Xorg 6.8.2 * ATI Mobile Radeon X300, using fglrx driver * Gfx mode: 1680x1050, 24 bit colour depth (may as well be 32bpp, of course) * No composite An interesting thing I noted is that it does only happen in mplayer when you select the x11 output plugin, and not with the other output plugins I usually use (xv and gl). The reason I noticed it is because x11 is the default. Also, I managed to reproduce this problem with frozen-bubble too, and that is interesting, because both it and qemu uses sdl. Also, mplayer depends on sdl, so it may well be that the x11 mplayer plugin uses sdl. So I tested two other sdl games, chromium and glob2. And both had the same problem. And this makes mentioning the version of sdl not pointless. It is version 1.2.7+1.2.8cvs20041007-5.3 on my system. And I also checked the debian bts for bugs that may affect this, but found none.
Ok, reproductible. I know why.
Revision 17792 fixes it.
Yes it did.
Fixed according to the commments.
