in Thunar or any other filemanager, when I right click on an .iso file and choose "open with xfburn", xfburn main window is displayed, instead of the iso image burning dialog (which is what the user would expect). I guess it's because xfburn needs the "-i' option to open that dialog, and xfburn .desktop file, which is used by the filemanager, is generic and does not have this option. What would solve the problem would be that "xfburn foo.iso" opens the burning dialog (i.e. no need for the "-i" option).
I think 0.4.3 already had "automagic" logic but it was broken. Please update to the current release 0.5.x, and xfburn will go straight to the burn image window when openend with one argument.
