Ignore shaded window when cycling windows!

Description Aquila Deus 2005-09-10 13:04:06 CEST
Hi! Please consider adding an option to ignore shaded windows when cycling
windows (clientCycle() in client.c).

Could you elaborate on this, I don't see how this could be an improvement...

Ah, because I use shaded window as minimized window (I don't have a taskbar).
And I don't see any reason to include shaded windows when cycling (Alt+Tab),
unless the user uses hotkey to do shading/unshading.

What's your vision on this in 2007?

This report is so antique that I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm closing it as WONTFIX for now.

I believe Aquila has a point, though: a rolled window would likely indicate that the user wants its content out of the way. If the contents should be out of the way, then a user who wants to cycle only from visible windows would probably not want to cycle through rolled ones.
