Some JPEG images cannot be viewed with Ristretto due to the following error displayed in the info bar:

> Application transferred too few scanlines

Some people suggest that this error is due to low system memory or disk space but neither is the case here.

Please see the attached image for an example. You can look at the EXIF data if you need details about the device it was taken with.

In GIMP I get "premature end of file" which might be the reason why these files are broken. Still, Ristretto should display the image as far as it can even if incomplete.

I can confirm this bug.

Just for comparison:
Viewnior and Pinta display the same error message.
GIMP, Gnome Image Viewer, Chromium and Firefox render the image without issues.

Interestingly thunar's thumbnail(tumbler) is able to show the image.
