when adding terminus font in xfce4-settings xfce4-panel crash
Hi for me the behaviour is different. If I set the font as "Terminus" in the Fonts tab of the "Appearance" setting, xfdesktop crashes for me (xfce4-panel works). When I try to restart xfdesktop, this is what I get: $ xfdesktop xfdesktop: cairo-scaled-font.c:459: _cairo_scaled_glyph_page_destroy: Assertion `!scaled_font->cache_frozen' failed. Aborted After changing to a differnt font (eg Sans), xfdesktop can be started again: $ xfdesktop & [1] 24134 The package versions are: $ pacman -Qs xfdesktop local/xfdesktop 4.11.8-5 (xfce4) A desktop manager for Xfce $ pacman -Qs xfce4-panel local/xfce4-panel 4.11.1-4 (xfce4) Panel for the Xfce desktop environment Both ringo32 and me are using Manjaro Linux.
I can confirm that this also happens on Xubuntu and Void.
