Currently there is no way to set the taskbar to a percentage width of the
screen. I would like to see this feature, as would other converted fluxbox
users I would imagine.

Why do I want this? A couple reasons:

-My panel is vertical, on the bottom right. Either the panel or taskbar overlap
each other, unless I position the panel slightly higher, which I don't want to
do because I am currently auto-hiding the taskbar (it looks ugly).

-I want to have a small amount of free desktop space on each side of the
taskbar so that I have a consistent area to jump to with the mouse and use the
scrollwheel to switch desktops. (alternatively, replicating the fluxbox
functionality of switching desktops with the scrollwheel when the mouse pointer
is on the taskbar would work also).

You request it, we implement it. The appended patch adds the requested
functionality to the taskbar. But it requires partial struts support from the
window manager to be 100% usefull.

Patch committed to CVS HEAD with few modifications. You can now also specify
the horizontal alignment of the taskbar.
