I wonder if anyone here is reading this bugreport, but I'll try my luck. When there is (I guess so because I'm not sure) EXIF data to tell the viewer to rotate the photo 90 deg left because it was done with vertical camera orientation, Ristretto follows the EXIF instruction. However, if you try to zoom the photo, Ristretto looses the rotation and forgets about EXIF, so the image instantly becomes badly oriented while zoomed. I'm attaching an example image to the report.

Funny enough, it doesn't happen always. You have to press ctrl and use mouse scroll very rapidly to achieve this effect. Try several times.

Hi, I cannot seem reproduce the problem - the attached picture is always vertical for me.
