Since the most archivers are outdated or require other depencities like gnome etc. why not integrate unp into thunar? it's a small modular perl script that can extract almost everything thunar could also check at startup which unp depencies are installed and provide the extract menu on those files

No, thanks. This is to subject to one's preferred archiver and that's up to distributions and users.
Furthermore, thunar-archive-plugin is responsible for choosing archivers, not thunar.
