Version 1.6.0 on xubuntu trusty

If I connect a pendrive, I see in right click menu unmount and eject.
If I connect an external usb hard disk, there is only "unmount", and I need to run an external command to "safely remove" hard disk, spinning it down:

udisks --unmount $DEV && udisks --detach $DRIVE

Why there's no "eject" or "safely remove drive" for hard disks like gnome or cinnamon?

This feature is present in thunar, but strangely missing in places plugin

I can confirm this bug. The bug effects xfce4 in Ubunutu 14.04 main repo and Xubuntu-dev ppa.

Note this only effects usb hdd not usb flash.
To reproduce this you must reboot or re-log into a clean xfce session.

You can run `udisksctl power-off -b /dev/sdb` and then re-plug in the drive to make eject option appear and work in thunar. There are other ways might do the same but a `udisksctl power-off -b /dev/sdb` guarantee it. That's why you need to reboot or re-log to reproduce it.

Besides if you set Location style in view to Tree, the eject option for usb hhd would always be there. It's not click-able untill you run a `udisksctl power-off -b /dev/sdb` and re-plug in though.
