i often use xfce as a secondary desktop enviroment. so would be usefull the startxfce4 script but..... i can't specify, for example, startxfce4 :1.....of course is possible to specify startxfce4 -- :1 but is quite more complex...so i made a little patch
1) typing '--' is a rather small thing to ask, so i see no reason to increase the complexity of the file and change the script's behavior from what is expected (i.e., it should behave like 'startx'). 2) it's not implemented correctly in your patch. if you run 'startxfce :1', it will run 'xinit /etc/xfce4/xinitrc :1 -- :1'.
Not a bug.
mass reassign from zz-do-not-use to general, so i can remove the zz-do-not-use component. sorry for the spam, search for this string to filter these: fis7cldoq35p3kjdu74emc
