xfwm4 version 4.11.1git.632abb2 The "clickable icons in the alt-tab dialog" feature was added in bug #2052 and has been in master git for a while and will be included in Xfce4.12 (according to the previous feature request) However I noticed that when I use multiple monitors an alt-tab dialog appears on the secondary monitor (which is fine) but it is not clickable. Only the primary monitor is clickable.
Should have added that either solution, or a combination, would probably work: either a) remove the alt-tab dialog on the secondary monitor; b) make the secondary dialog clickable; c) make the monitor that has the active cursor/window show the alt-tab dialog only; d) make this a selectable option
Hey, thanks for reporting the bug! I was just able to confirm it. The only reasonable way I can imagine to make this work is option b). I'm pretty sure some keyboard-only users would complain about a) or c) and I don't think more options are a good idea, considering that xfwm4 already has two fully populated settings dialogs.
Should be fixed with git commit 42a88b1d
Yup, just tested that commit and it really fixes the issue. Thanks a bunch!
