Usable area for icons on the desktop too small

Hey!

On retina-like displays the usable area to place icons on the desktop is too small. On a thinkpad with 2880x1600 about half of the screen is not usable. I added a screenshot of the issue where icons are placed on the rightmost and bottommost positions (sfarkxtc binary).

Okay, seems it depends on the selected theme. Greybird reduces the usable space while the derivate of Ambiance I'm actually using doesn't do so.
