Created attachment 5513 screenshot.png I use xfce4 on a up-to-date fedora rawhide, and whatever the icon theme is, thunar is not displaying some basic icons for files and directories, in all panels.
Is this still reproducible for you? It's almost surely a local issue, e.g. bad/incomplete theme (I know you said it happened on all of them, but still)...
I don't use xfce on fedora rawhide anymore (switched to openbox). But on SteamOS (stable debian based), I use xfce where the icons are ok.
