Using the new settings screen, I can browse the batteries installed in the system. However, there seems to be an internal refresh every 30 seconds. when that happens, and a battery was selected under "Devices", the right pane will reset to the first item (Line power), while on the left, the old item (the battery) is still selected. Essentially, it resets your current selection every 30 seconds.
Created attachment 5518 Devices tab flickers on update On a upower notify/change signal, the devices entry was completely recreated to update to the new settings. This patch changes it so that only the items in that treeview get updated. Let me know if that fixes the issue for you.
