When I boot my Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Laptop I have Orange Calendar starting on boot, in the lower-right corner of the desktop. I have 5-day [Show Events] set.

When there are NO Events Orange opens where I expect it, lower-right corner.

BUG: If there IS an Event, on boot Orange starts in the UPPER-LEFT corner, under the Ubuntu-Bar. I have to move it back to the lower-right corner.

The problem seems to be you Orange treates Events as having a seperate window. I see this in the "undoucumented" settings section of Help.

Orange should have ONLY one window, not two. Events shouuld be an extension of of the Orange window.

It would also help if Orange had a "[X] Lock windows in place" option.

Could this be solved by marking the second window as a pop-up of the main calendar window?

The orage project is not maintained anymore and has been archived. Closing bugs.
