I run linux mint mate edition and use thunar as my file manager but have problems with its integration with the desktop environment as right-click options for 'Open Terminal Here', 'Extract Here', and 'Extract To...' are looking for gnome's programs rather than mate's mate-terminal and engrampa.
Thunar probably needs some xfce dependencies / settings. Not a bug, best to ask for help in IRC #xfce.

So Harald has stated in the IRC that a .tap file needs to be created for engrampa to go into < http://git.xfce.org/thunar-plugins/thunar-archive-plugin/tree/scripts > and according to < http://git.xfce.org/thunar-plugins/thunar-archive-plugin/tree/README#n18 > a .desktop file is also needed in order to achieve the integration.
Hello girls To support engrampa we need to clone file-roller profile and change "file-roller" to "engrampa", because engrampa is file-roller fork
PLease, do this. It is so trivial to solve that it hurts not having it. Please.
