[enh] prevent accidental double-clicks in single-click mode

If I do double click on desktop icon (home folder, file system, ...) with
"Single click to activate items" option is enabled, then triple window of
same type is opened. I think, it would be better to open only one window on
double click.

Hello Sergey, I'm not sure about this. The behavior you describe actually respects your setting (1 click: open, 2 clicks: open twice). If you regularly forget that setting, you may want to change it back to double-click.

Or there could be a minimum delay between 2 clicks (same as configured in xfce4-settings-manager) to prevent accidental double clicks.

A word on this from the maintainer would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, not really sure it's worth adding complexity to xfdesktop to prevent double click when doing single click. Xfdesktop does support the setting in the settings manager because it gets set for all GTK apps so xfdesktop gets it for free.
