Created attachment 5362 as you can see no thumbnails :/ thunar creates thumbnails for tga files only if the picture was already opened with gimp or some other image editor
Moving to tumbler. Maybe gimp or the other image editors save info in the tga files, or modify them in some other way so that they can be processed by tumbler.
