Created attachment 5305 Paches for xfce4-terminal and libvte9 I have created a patch, please accept it. As for me, it's a very convenient feature. It also requires patch to libvte9. This patch adds menu action to select and copy text with keyboard (it's very convenient to assign handy shortcut to this action). Arrows control start of selection. Shift+Arrows control end of selection. Alt toggles block mode. Holding control moves selection for 4 chars (instead of 1). Home, End, PgUp, PgDown move selection across screen. Enter copies text. Esc discards selection.
Sorry, won't add this functionality unless it's supported by upstream vte.
