Hello,

When moving a subfolder from one folder into another folder, the pasted subfolder is displayed for a fraction of a second and then disappears.
When it is not visible, all I need to do The subfolder has been moved and will display if I press the F5 key to refresh.

Unfortunately, this does not occur under any scenario and after trying to identify for quite some time the specific conditions, I haven't been success full to figure out the exact criteria.

All I can state is that it happens much more often under the following condition:
- the subfolder being moved has at least 500MB of content; AND
- the folder moving the subfolder into has already over 10 subfolders in it; AND
- the CPU and Hard Disk is already being used quite a bit by other programs.

The only additional info I can provide is that this is occuring under Xubuntu 13.10 on a Dual-core Intel CPU (labeled as a "Centrino Duo") with 2 GB of RAM.

I will update this bug report if I can come across other important criteria in order to reproduce it consistantly.

Cheers,
Rob

I have similar reproduction: but it is randon rare cases.
I'm working across 6 tabs with copy or cut and paste from mouse contextual menu.
I have been moving lots of files last days and i only traced once but i felt that happened 2 or 3 previous times.

Last time i try to open the folder on different tab but did not show up until i created a folder with the same name in the same (father folder) and surprisily into the just mew created folder, was all the content of the previously moved folder. Very strangely the system did not pop up any message of "folder already exist".
