Everytime I reboot, the "Tap touchpad to click" settings is changed to "off" so I have to go back to the mouse settings and turn it on again.
Running Xubuntu 13.10 with XFCE  4.10

Can you test this with a later version of Xubuntu? I am unable to reproduce in Trusty (14.04) and later.
