Description Jos van Wolput 2013-12-09 04:22:40 CET
When choosing the custom menu file 'debian-menu.menu' from /var/lib/menu-xdg/menus/, the git versions of xfce4-panel don't show debian-menu applications. Only Help, Office and System Tools are shown with a mention 'No applications found'.

No such issue with the released version 4.10.1, the whole Debian menu is shown.

Same issue when choosing kde4-applications.menu or gnome-applications.menu.
Not all applications are shown and a mention 'no applications found' is displayed.

No such issue with the released version 4.10.1, all apps are displayed.
Comment 2 Jos van Wolput 2014-03-08 11:40:11 CET
I fixed this issue for my own use by patching the xfce4-panel-4.11 source,
replacing ~/xfce4-panel-4.11.0/plugins/applicationsmenu
by the ~/applicationsmenu of xfce4-panel-4.10.1 source.
No compilation errors.
All apps from the debian, gnome and kde menus are shown.

Closing bugs as xfce4-menu-plugin is deprecated/unmaintained/merged into Panel since years.
