When typing into Thunar's location bar entry (toolbar style) and not activating it the path remains modified. This is fine. However, what is unexpected, is that it does still not reset itself when you click the reload symbol or use the corresponding keyboard shortcut. 

A positive side effect of changing this behaviour, would be that one could intentionally reset the the path to the current directory by pressing reload.
