For people using long filenames very often, the small size of the rename dialog (F2) is quite hindering. You either have to scroll or resize the window *every* time.

There are multiple possible solutions:

1) make it bigger by default, possibly depending on screen size
2) make it remember its size
3) give it a dynamic size, depending of the current length of the old filename

And I think it's a useful change with not very much effort.

Yes,I know I'm using an older version. It's the version that comes with Xubuntu 12.04 LTS. Maybe it is possible to fix this before the Xubuntu folks pick up a version for 14.04 LTS ?

In between, I switched to XFCE 4.10 on Arch Linux. The initial size seems to be dependent of the current filename. This is much better.
