An enhancement request. The on-the-right-side-only arrows

- take more place when using many launchers with menus attached
- are less intuitive than arrows on top of the launchers
- are less practical than top or bottom arrows, especially when using a laptop
touchpad
- don't look good (personnal opinion), and don't look Xfceish

The "press the launcher and wait the timeout" alternative is not practical,
especially when "browsing" several menus, at least with the current need to
click twice in order to open another menu.

I'd like to see this feature back.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Sorry, couldn't resist. I swear that I've really tried to get used to it, and I
know you are in an early stage of development for the 4.4 panel, with other
priorities in mind.

It's alright, I will add something back. I'm just wondering what would be the
best interface. Would a global option in the launcher dialog be very unintuitive?

  All launchers
    menu button position: Left|Right|Top|Bottom

I must confess part of the reason I didn't change anything yet is to see if you
would change you mind ;-) Yeah, I'm evil.

cheers,
Jasper

hm... I see the problem. You don't want a global option in the mcs dialog since
a launcher is a plugin like another one, but indeed a global option in the
launcher properties dialog is not very intuitive... I would personaly vote for a
global option in the panel mcs dialog, like it was before. After all, hosting
the launchers is the first reason for the panel to exist... I don't know about
the internal coding considerations, though.

Yes you are! ;)

Cheers
