Hi, the last released version of Squeeze uses thunar-vfs (which is deprecated), which in turn uses hal (which is deprecated also). It seems a udisks/gio/gvfs rewrite was ongoing, but I'm not sure what's its state. It'd be nice if someone could give a look, maybe merge the branch to master and start some pre-releases in order to identify bugs quickly.
