Instead it  behaves like a combining character.

So typing a character, then the ⋘ char, and then another.. the 
⋘ symbol is drawn on top of the 2nd char (but isn't on other display
devices I regularly use (SecureCRT, gvim (in X or Win7 GUI version).

Am guessing it got misclassified ...?
