Resize problems with gkrellm
Status:
RESOLVED: DUPLICATE

Comments

Description Bernhard Walle 2005-06-24 13:52:41 CEST
If I add monitors to gkrellm and the gkrellm "window" increases height, the new
part is not displayed, I must focus gkrellm (i.e. click on the window) to see
the new part.

The strange thing: If I restart xfwm4 (i.e. if xfwm4 is started after gkrellm),
it works. The bug just occures if gkrellm is started after xfwm4.

With Metacity, I had no problems. But I don't know if it's a bug in gkrellm or
xfwm4.

(On a SuSE 9.3/x86_64 box at work this bug even applies to the initial gkrellm
load, so if I startup the system I first have to focus gkrellm to see the right
size, so it's a bit annoying.)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in and start xfce
2. gkrellm&
3. Right click on gkrellm to get the configuration dialog
4. Add some monitor which is not displayed before so that gkrellm must increase
the height.

Actual Results:
The window is incomplete

Expected Results:
The height should change.

SuSE 9.2

This is xfwm4 version 4.2.2 for Xfce 4.2.2
built with GTK+-2.4.9, linked with GTK+-2.4.9.
