The virt-manager application seems to 'move' when minimizing and un-minimizing. it should restore to the same place it was minimized from. This doesn't happen on many applications, so perhaps virt-manager is doing something different here. 

Happy to test or gather more info.

I can confirm this problem on my system with xfwm4.

I did some testing and this bug do not seem to be specific to xfwm4, he also occurs with openbox wm on a xfce environnement but not with metacity...

The behaviour 

however the behaviour of virt-manager is slightly different depending to the window manager:

on xfwm4: slightly move up
on openbox: slightly move down...
on metacity: work as expected.

virt-manager is written in gtk3, could it be related to this?
