using mousepad 2.0 on a 32bit machine I opened up my message log to check the entries and only got to see up to line 10761 of 30000 odd lines. The file is 1.5megs in size. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. in Terminal mousepad /var/log/messages 2. 3. Actual Results: Does not display full log of file the most recent entries are missing. Expected Results: Shown every single entry in file
will test this when I get home. Have you tried with Line numbers off to see if this affects anything?

Hrm. I can get mousepad to display a ~200000 line file, that 24MB in size, with no real problem, other than obvious slowness when scolling. I'll look into it, but any other info you have would be great
Since I can't replicate, and Mousepad 0.3.0 is going to be a new codebase, so I'm closing as works for me. When 0.3.0 is released, could you please retest
