Notes, version 1.7.7

The name of the note and/or group does not reflect actions taken.

Here, "Main Menu" means the result of a right click on the title bar.

By actions I mean Main Menu ->
    -> Rename,
or  -> Groups  -> Rename a group.

Some non alphanumeric characters in the name given by the user
prevent the new name from being displayed in the title bar. Instead
the result is that the existing name remains unchanged, whether it
was entered by the user or given by default ("Notes"). It should
be noted that the correct name, including the illegal character, is
properly displayed in the panel (xfce, Xubuntu). One specific
character I have used, and whose effect I have seen is '&'. I don't
have time to test them all, sorry.

BACKGROUND:
I recently installed Xubuntu on my computer. I was trying to learn
how to use the Notes plugin for the xfce panel. It was the first
time I tried a notes/sticky type application, on this or any other
O/S I have worked with. When trying to use Notes for the first time
it is quite confusing.

OPERATING SYSTEM:
   Xubuntu 12.04 64-bit
   Xfce 4.10
   Thunar 1.4.0

SUGGESTION:
Either reject these non alphanumeric characters when the user
attempts to name the "Note" or "Group", with a message to the user
that the character is not allowed, or fix the title bar so that it
reflects the new name entered by the user.

Nice program. I will continue to use it.

Thank you.
