There is a horizontal row of tabs, one for each application running. Why not allow the user to grab them with the mouse and rearrange them?
Also allow setting "new tabs added from right", "new tabs added from left"... as users coming from different systems might find your opposite order very disturbing! P.S., is XFCE dead? Does anyone read these bugs?
