AppFinder called by <Ctrl> <F2> don't get focus .
Called by Desktop (click desktop to give it focus) work always.
Can Appear from several app (libo ide / thunar ...).
Reproductible from when call from Terminal (0.48)

xubuntu 12.04 / cairodock 3.2.0 / Compiz 0.9.7.12

maybe "simply" patched by giving the focus to the desktop in the process of apparition of this great piece of this beautiful tool.

What are your Window manager settings and tweaks concerning focus? Especially New window focus and Focus stealing prevention?

From CCSM ( compizconfig-settings-manager ) > General Options > Focus & Raise Behaviour > Focus Prevention Level : "Low".

Setting "Focus Prevention Level" to "Off" solve the problem.
