Small black square, lower right - cosmetic bug?

I'm getting a cosmetic error in the Xfce 4.10 Prev. 1 release - a small black square appears in the lower right of my screen (see attachment). I'm running with compositing, if that's relevant.

Can you paste the output from xrandr? Does this happen with other wallpapers?

Yes, I'm getting this with any wallpaper (I'll post a couple of additional screenshots).

Disable the resize grip from the root window

When you move your mouse over the black box does the mouse act like you're trying to resize the window? If so, can you test this patch?
Comment 6 Ward Chanley 2012-04-05 15:30:52 CEST
It was giving me a resize gripper, I hadn't noticed (I never had much reason to mouse down there, heh) - that patch looks like a fix, thanks very much.
Comment 7 Nick Schermer editbugs 2012-04-05 15:40:49 CEST
Patch looks ok to me, but is it tested now?
Comment 8 Ward Chanley 2012-04-05 15:41:54 CEST
Yes, I apologize, I wasn't clear - I've recompiled with that patch, and it's fixed now. Thanks again.
