Created attachment 3847 Output of the crash When moving a panel to the bottom of the screen, all panels crash, this only happens with VirtualBox: How to reproduce: - Create two panels - Move one panel to the top - Move the second panel to the bottom - The panel application crashes. This works without any issues on my laptop, but on my desktop, where I have Xfce 4.8 running inside a VirtualBox this bug is reproducible. I'm using ArchLinux 64bit, and Xfce from the repos. I also have the Guest Additions installed and running. The bug is reproducible in both fullscreen as well as window mode. The bug also occurs when there are two panels on the bottom, or at the top but doesn't happen, if there is just one panel at the bottom/top. Attached is the output of xfce4-panel when it crashes.
I need a better backtrace (with debugging) to track this down.
The patch in http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/commit/?id=48382773474583719b59753c3d4e3e74a346f449 can help too.

Backtrace is still without debugging symbols. And please run "bt" in gdb after the crash.
That's what I did. I think you missed attachment 3857 ...?

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=753570 might be a version of this. Does the stacktrace there help any?
Could not be reproduced by two different QA folks at Xubuntu, should probably be closed. Tested on: - Xubuntu 14.04/14.10/15.04 - VBox 4.3.12/4.3.18
