Sorry I dont know what category is it. Please move this to right category. Some seconds after I'm running (after sim is loaded) X-Plane (http://www.x-plane.com/index_desktop.html) is slows down from normal to about 1 FPS. It slows down all PC (mouse, other running application...). It is sudden jump from normal to very slow. I have played X-Plane long time in KDE without any problem. but I would like to use XFCE. Experimentally I try to install GNOME and I tested it and this one is OK as well. uname -a Linux 2.6.32-gentoo-r7 #1 SMP Tue Jul 6 12:23:41 CEST 2010 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux eix xfce-base/xfce4-meta -c [I] xfce-base/xfce4-meta (4.6.2@7.7.2010): Xfce4 Desktop Environment (meta package) more informations?
I try Enlightenment and it is OK as others.
Do you have compositor enabled?
Yes I do. I have tested game without compositor now and it is OK. I have made quick test. I have started compositor with state on after slowing game I switch off compositor (game speed up) and I immediately switch on compositor and game didnt slow down.
Closing old bugs.
