Description Erick 2004-12-15 05:40:18 CET
Just did a clean install of 4.2RC2 on Suse 9.1 and the XMMS System Tray
Status Plug-in and the KDE Kwikdisk System Tray icons are not appearing
in the XFCE system tray; they are appearing in their own separate
windows. In the 4.0.6, 4.2 Beta 2 and 4.2RC1 releases these applications found
the XFCE system tray with no problems.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. XMMS System Tray Status Plug-in, launch Kwikdisk, and save your session.
2. Log back in and remove 4.2 RC1 (via Red Carpet since we are using an RPM
based system)
3. Install 4.2 RC2 (via Red Carpet)
4. Log-out of XFCE and log back in.

Actual Results:
XMMS System Tray Status Plug-in and Kwikdisk sytem tray icons are launched in
their own separate windows instead of the XFCE system tray.

Expected Results:
Placed the system tray icon in the XFCE system tray.

This is what the bug looks like.

As you can see, the XMMS System Tray Status Plug-in and the KDE Kwikdisk System
Tray icons are not appearing in the XFCE system tray; they are appearing in
their own separate windows.
