Hello!

I have to use a proxy to find connect to the internet.

To reproduce:
Add weather-plugin to panel,
check 'use proxy server', 
enter proxy server,
click 'change' to find your station,
enter your location and press search.
The search times out.

Closing the config dialog and reopening seems to fix this.
It seems like the proxy setting is only taken when the config dialog is opened.

Currently you have to close the dialog to save the settings. This will be solved in 0.8.3 or later versions, where most settings will be applied immediately, like it is done in other xfce4 apps. Because it's on the TODO list, I'll close this bug. Thanks for reporting.
