Hi.

I don't like Windows but a feature I like very much in WinXP is the «Recently used applications» list in the start menu. But the feature I love in Xfce4 is the desktop click -- which made me chose and stay with Xfce rather than anything else! Let's combine both ;-) .

Currently Xfce4 has put one more level from the desktop to the applications menu. It'd be great if one could launch the most used applications with only one right click on the desktop, like this:

--- Desktop menu ---

...
----
Recent Application 1
Recent Application 2
...
Recent Application n
All ... > («Applications» sub menu)

Keep up the work, guys!

Moving to xfdesktop because libxfce4menu doesn't provide the desktop menu.

Mint's Whisker menu has exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Vice, whiskermenu is indeed very good. It's packaged for debian https://packages.debian.org/jessie/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin
