Iconbox displays icons horizontally instead of vertical when the panel is in a vertical orientation. This happens when the gtk2.16 (which is current/stable) library is installed. It works fine when I downgrade to gtk2.14 though ( but then all packages depending on gtk2.16 have to downgraded too =[ ).
