FreeBSD 7.1/amd64, xfce 4.6rc1, xfce4-cpugraph-plugin 0.3.0 (0.4.0 does not support BSD)

xfce4-cpugraph-plugin crashes when trying to add it to the panel.

Actions:
1) set XDG_CONFIG_DIRS to /usr/local/etc in shell environment
2) start xfce4 using startxfce4
3) right-click on panel to add cpugraph plugin

Expected results:
The cpugraph plugin is added to the panel, as in xfce 4.4.3

Actual results:
The cpugraph plugin crashes (see attached backtrace), the rest of xfce4 continues to work normally.

I've made significant code cleanups, and fixed a bunch of potential crashes doing so. Although I didn't have this bug in mind when I did so, I believe that the code pointed to by this bug report is now more robust, and shouldn't crash.

I am closing this as fixed, but don't hesitate to reopen if it still reproduces.
