Please set the component properly...
Not sure this will be useful. Workspaces are designed to group windows so the desktop is easier to navigate, so it's implemented by the window manager.
In 5 years I don't think I have seen a single user asking for this feature. Would anyone else agree to have this report closed as WONTFIX?
