i am on the sidux dev team and we have just released a sidux-xfce besides the kde variants.
to our dismay xkb-plugin does not really work as it should.
installing it first time, having de and us in xorg.conf it works fine, flags/text are correct and switching between them is reliable.
after first reboot the is a different behaviour:
us flag is shown with default de kbd layout and there is no chance to switch anymore. xorg.conf is unchanged. (has de & us)
sidux is debian sid
xfce version: 4.4.2.1
xkb-plugin version 0.4.3-1
kernel: 2.6.25-9.slh.1-sidux-686
this behaviour has been reproduced on many boxes
any clues please?
