Hi,

a debian user asked [0] if a --desktop parameter could be added to Terminal, so a window can be opened in the specified desktop.

I'm forwarding this here even after advising to use Devil's Pie.

If you don't think it's a valid request, I'll tell the initial bug reporter.

There is a way to implement this using startup notification (which has a desktop property), but I'm sure this will not be reliable, only causing more problems. I also think it is a bit of-scope for the Terminal.
