A debian user reported [0] that when adding an interface in wavelan plugin, one was limited to 10 chars. This arbitrary limitation isn't catched often, but when it is, it's really annoying.

Is there a practical reason for limiting interface name? If there is, can it be extended to a bit more (and if there's more, could it be removed completely?)

Thanks.

Removed the limit entirely. You can now type interface names of arbitrary length.
